The Iguazu Waterfall is found right at the border of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay and is about an hour and a half flight from Buenos Aires.
The waterfall itself is physically located in Argentina, but the Brazilian side is spectacular as well. On the Argentinean side of the waterfall you can walk right around the falling water, take a boat tour to the mouth of the waterfall, and explore the National Park next to the waterfall.
The National Park is full of wonderful birds and wildlife. The Brazilian side offers beautiful panoramic views of this beautiful falls. The fall area provides opportunities for water sports and rock climbing.
The Devil's Throat is the site of the biggest waterfall. The Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat in English), a U-shaped 150-metre-wide and 700-metre-long (490 by 2300 feet) cliff, is the most impressive of all, and marks the border between Argentina and Brazil. Two thirds of the falls are within Argentine territory. About 900 metres of the 2.7-kilometre length does not have water flowing over it!
So if you would like to see something grand make sure you take time to visit the Iguazu Falls and take time to enjoy all it has to offer.
