In the movie Simpson plays the title role of Megan Valentine in the comedy, about a down-on-her-luck actress who enlists in the United States Army.

The movie is described as "similar" to Private Benjamin (1980), though many accuse it of being a remake. The movie is about an actress down on her luck with trying to impress a producer and studio that she's fit for their upcoming military-themed movie. To win the role and prove them wrong, she joins the Army. Jessica Simpson has said she is taking on the movie because "it is something Goldie Hawn (star of Private Benjamin) would do.

Must be disappointing for all the fans of "Heidiwood", but I am afraid there's not that many lovers of the brand any more. Brad Paisley was returning home to Nashville on his private plane Sunday, after attaining his last concert date with her and Chuck Wicks in San Antonio.
