April is Stress Awareness Month
and before it ends I wanted to share how the stars of the silver screen dissolve their stress.
Famous director David Lynch said meditation is the best way to de-stress. For him it eliminates all feelings of negativity and fear. He said life is more rewarding when you don’t have to worry about those things and meditation is the best way to reach a peaceful feeling.
First Lady Michelle Obama says she sweats out her stress. When she feels pressured she likes to release the tension by hitting the gym or riding a bike. Also, incase you didn’t know one of Michelle’s greatest passions is to reduce childhood obesity.
Angelina Jolie de-stresses simply by doing the things she loves. Spending time with her kids or goofing around gives her ease and comfort.
Gwyneth Paltrow says she looks to meditation and special Kabbal rituals to help her feel calm. She has even shared breathing practices in previous interviews.
Goldie Hawn didn’t have specifics to offer but she had some great advice. The best way to combat stress is to change your way of thinking. So mix it up people!
Brad Pitt uses architecture and puzzles to ease his mind. For him it’s receding back to childhood. As a young boy he loved Legos and Lincoln logs. Pitt finds it peaceful to discover how things work.
Russell Brand is another fan of meditation. He enjoys the feeling of being connected with an energy and power bigger than himself. It’s the best way for him to unwind.
Kendall Jenner says she listens to music when life with the Kardashians is just too much. She’s also looking forward to learning meditation from her big sister Kourtney.
