How do you become a Princess?

Well, I guess anybody could answer that question. You become a princess by being born the daughter of a king, or by marrying a prince.
But as there is no possibility of your becoming a king’s daughter, your only way of becoming a princess is to marry a prince. The problem is where do you find princes these days, and how do you meet them?
Let’s see what princes are available, and I mean real princes, not princes from families which have lost their thrones, or from what are now republican countries such as France and Germany.
Well, excluding the mini-states of Lichtenstein, Luxemburg, and Monte Carlo, royal houses in Europe are still to be found in Britain, Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Spain.
From Britain there’s Prince Henry (Harry) of Wales, aged 28, and fond of polo, skiing, and partying. These activities point the way forward but as polo and skiing can be expensive, gate-crashing a party might be the best option.
Then we move on to Belgium where we find two good-looking princes waiting for the right girl to come along. First, there’s Prince Amadeo, 26, who is now working for Deloitte in New York – and that would seem to offer a good opportunity.
His younger brother, Prince Joachim, 20, is a sailor in the Belgian navy so if you can find out the name of his ship and its next port of call you’re on the right track.
In Sweden, Prince Carl Philip, 33, is still single and looking. His passions are car racing, skiing, and swimming, so hanging around the pits at a car racing event would give you the chance to show what you’ve got.
Princes from the other countries mentioned above are either married or minors and this leaves princes pretty thin on the ground. But keep trying and remember the story of Cinderella!
