The tropics are hot in more ways than one. They home to many beautiful beaches, mountains, waterfalls and adventures, which can make them the perfect place for couples – young, old, and in-between.

    Comfort and Beauty
Wake up every morning at 6:30 to hear the birds singing, feel the sun shining and see the sky blue overhead. Don’t worry about seasons – when you are on or near the equator, each day is of equal length, (give or take half an hour or so).

No more getting up at eight o’clock to find it’s pitch black outside, it’s freezing cold and a gale-force wind is howling through the eaves.

    Save Money
Living in the tropics, you’ll save a fortune on housing expenses. You don’t need central heating, fires in fireplaces, expensive insulation to keep out draughts, or even hot water. Hang the washing outside and it’ll be dry in ten or fifteen minutes. Rent and even buying homes is often much cheaper than in the Western World as well.

Food, transportation, clothing and just about everything else generally cost much, much less in developing, tropical nations as well. In many countries along the tropics, (suchs as Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia), you can eat a delicious, healthy, filling meal for about $1-$3!

    Fashion
And clothes? Well, you don’t need many, and what you wear inside the house you can wear outside the house. Basically a woman needs only four basic items of clothing: undergarments, shorts / jeans / skirts, and cotton tops. Cotton, hemp, and light linens are musts for the climte. Add a pair of sandals or dressy flip-flops with kitten heals, forget the stockings, (your legs will already look great and tan), and you’re fully dressed.

What a change from piling on layer after layer of clothes before you go out, just in an effort to keep warm, and then removing the same clothes again when you get back home.

    Nature
And no grey, smoke-stained buildings, no bleak, desolate surroundings with denuded, naked, scarecrow trees standing forlornly here and there. But trees lush and green all year, and plenty of color everywhere.

Certainly, some days will be awfully hot, but air-conditioning will make this bearable. Generally the weather will not be unpleasant and you’ll soon get accustomed to moving from temperate to tropic.

    Romance
For a fun getaway or long-term relocation, moving to the Tropics can be the perfect escape for you and your man. Days at the beach and nights out enjoying rich culture and food – what more can you ask for in life? (Perhaps the perfect person to share paradise with?)
