Fried polenta makes for an excellent breakfast substitute for pancakes or waffles and can be topped with syrup, jam or even just butter. Also you can used as a side dish.
This custard pie has a surprisingly pleasant texture. The filo pastry is very nice and crispy when you baked, and the lemony flavour of the custard gives a beautiful texture to the pie. The only problem you have is that it disappear very quickly.
