Tasty Kasha


Kasha generally refers to buckwheat but in Slavic countries it can be made from any cereal and this isone of the oldest known dishes in the Slavic. Mushroom dishes have been considered by right most loved in Russian cuisine since ancient times. They were a true decoration of the table at any season. Mushrooms gave a special taste to soups, pies, sauces and meat. Simply boiled, fried, stewed or pickled mushrooms have a unique tasty loved by millions.

buckwheat

Ingredients

  • 300 g buckwheat
  • 100 g mushrooms
  • 100 g butter
  • 4 ea eggs hard boiled
  • 2 ea onions
  • water
  • salt

Method

  1. Boil crumbly buckwheat kasha in salted water.
  2. Boil mushrooms until they are ready.
  3. Fry chopped onions in butter.
  4. Chop mushrooms and eggs.
  5. Stir all ingredients into kasha, add butter.
  6. Put kasha in the hot oven for 15-20 minutes
