Theodor Seuss Geisel was an iconic and beloved American writer and cartoonist, better known by his pen name, Dr. Seuss. He published over 60 children's books, which were often characterized by his imaginative characters, rhyme and frequent use of trisyllabic meter. He made reading such a fun. Not only children even their parents love to read Dr. Seuss books. His choice of words, simple text, presentation of humor and illustration of his imagination was really fabulous and these attributes brought a never ending success to his writing career.

Picture books and books for beginning readers by Dr. Seuss continue to be enormously popular. The rhymes and quirky characters make them particularly appealing.
