Worried about stains?

Most of us worried about the stains that we get on our favorite dress as it's hard to get rid of. Here is the great news for all of us. There are many easy methods to clean different kind of stains. Getting rid of stains is possible if you act quickly and have the right gear and a little knowledge. Here we will find out how to deal with different categories of the most common stains.

Worried about stains?

Wine, coffee, tea, soft drinks, juice stains: carefully blot up any extra liquid. Then, wash with a detergent in hot water. If this doesn't work, pre treat with a stain remover and rewash. To get rid of stains that have already set, you'll undoubtedly need to break out the bleach (for whites) or heavy-duty detergent. Don't use soap as they will be made permanent.

Blood stain: Suddenly we cut our finger and thus get stain of blood on our top. You have to be very fast in dealing with blood strain. Treat the stain with a cold water and table salt mixture as soon as possible. Rinse thoroughly and blot with a towel. If the stain still persists, try diluted ammonia.

Urine, vomit, eggs, gelatin and baby food: These kind of stain is from protein. First of all dab the stain with cotton cloth to absorb the excess fluid. Then soak the stain in cold water, agitating the fabric between your fingers, and then wash with a detergent that contains enzymes. Some stains are old and stubborn, to deal with such strains try to remove excess with a dull blade and pre treat with a stain removal product or detergent that contains enzymes. Again, wash with a detergent that contains enzymes. Always remember don't use hot water or the dryer as it will set the stain permanently.

Chocolate stain: This is really easy, just dampen a sponge with lukewarm water and blot the stain.

Any kind of oil, cosmetic products like lipstick, mayonnaise and butter strain: Blot up excess, you may use talcum or baking soda to absorb excess. Use a stain pretreatment product or solvent-based stain removal products. Then use a stain pretreatment product. Shout and Spray 'n Wash, solvent-based stain removal products.

Dye, Ink and marker stain: To get rid of dye stains is really tedious. So you should act quickly. Agitate the stain with rubbing alcohol, rinse, and repeat. Hair spray, which contains alcohol, also works great. Also you can pre treat with a serious detergent or a pretreatment stain removal product. Next, wash with detergent and bleach in hot water or warm according to the requirement of the garment.

Mud stain: When you have pets or kids at home, mud stain is very common. First of all try to lift away whatever can be removed easily with a spatula or a dull knife. Let the mud dry, and then vacuum it. If the stain persists, clean it with a cloth dampened with ammonia-water solution.

Some stains can be removed easily but some are really hard so always remember the one liner, "Quickly you act, successful you will be" in case of stain removal.
