Toddlers learn a lot from the age of 1 to 3 years. The most interesting mode of their learning is through playing. They enjoy and learn at the same timeand who can be the better partner than you. By playing with your kid you not only teach them the facts of life but also develop a never ending bond with your child. You should be very selective while deciding the game for your toddler. Lets check out some of the interesting games that your child will simply love to play.
Hide and Seek: One of the most interesting games your child will love to play and even you will feel the child inside. This game will help your child understand that if he can't see something, it doesn't mean it is not there. Always play this game in a clear space where your toddler can concentrate on you. Cover yourself up with a sheet or cloth. Call your child by saying "Where's Mummy?" and wait while your little one crawls or walks around you. Encourage them by sliding a hand out from under the sheet and giving them a wave. When they can found your head you can pop up saying "Here I am!" You can also try the same on them by covering them with a sheet then gently discover an arm or a leg before revealing their head. It is great fun, l pay it in the morning when my little one gets up.
| Reading together: Toddlers love colorful pictures; cartoons so take an advantage and spend a great time together by looking at colorful picture books. This is the best way to inculcate the interest of reading books in your kid. This game will develop the reading and talking skills of your child. Make reading more interactive by asking your toddler to point to things he can see in the picture: "Where is the Lion?" or "Can you point to the tasty apple?". Take your time and inspire your child to turn the pages on their own. | |

Play with a ball: its time to teach your child to stand on her own two feet and kick a ball. This will develop the coordination skill. Take a beach ball as they are lighter and will be easy on little ones feet. Kick the ball towards your toddler and encourage them to kick back. Do not forget to praise their every action. Painter: Playing with paper and color is something every child loves to do. May be your child is ready to start using crayon on paper. The lines must be abstract but encourage your kid by appreciating whatever they do. This game will develop the early writing skill, fine motor control and skill of identifying colors. Place a big sheet on the table and let your little one portray his world of imagination with crayons. Try to give them the washable crayons to protect your walls. And don't forget to display her work when she has finished. It will show her how much you value her efforts and gives confidence to the child. |
Musician: let your child be a musician. No need to get any piano or drum toy, you can start with everyday objects to make music and sound, like a one spoon! Whatever it is the requirement is noise and your kid will have a blast. This will develop the imagining skill of your sweetheart baby. First use the equipments and show your baby to use them, remember just have fun!
Mummyand Daddy's helper: Ask them to help you, this will give a sense of responsibility, even if they still make a mess, who cares, it's all about learning and fun
Feeding the favorite Teddy: The best way to teach your child spoon control is to let him do it on their own while feeding their favorite toy. Once he's practiced holding and moving the spoon to get (imaginary) food to Teddy's mouth, he'll be able to use one by himself at mealtimes much more easily.

Give him a bowl and spoon that you use to feed them during meal time. Ask and teach your kid to feed the teddy as the toy is hungry. Pretend as if there is some food in the bowl. Encourage your toddler to speak to teddy while playing the feeding game. Your child will enjoy this freedom and responsibility and may be next time he would like to have his meal on their own. There are lots of such games which teach your child so many important things so easily. Always remember child has a psychology of not doing the things they are told to do. So never show that you are teaching them something. Just enjoy the entire session, play with your child and have great fun. Live your childhood once more with your little one. |
