Namaste Yoga - a spiritual gesture
Pump it0 Dump it0      Posted on: 25-Feb-2009

The name, Namaste yoga, is derived from a popular Indian salutation. Namaste means: I bow to you. It is a kind of regards which we show to others with our hands together in a steeple posture and bowing at the same time, this type of position is generally practiced in the beginning and at the end of yoga class and the words "Namaste" is said while practicing the yoga. One can do Namaste to oneself as a meditation technique to go deeper inside the heart chakra; when done with someone else, it is also a beautiful, albeit quick, meditation. Namaste yoga is just one of the many different types of yoga that you can choose to participate in.

Pump it0 Dump it0      Posted on: 15-Sep-2008

The word "spa" conjures up images of long days filled with mud baths and meditation classes, exquisitely prepared spa cuisine, and fragrant eucalyptus groves. But spas, lately, seem to be popping up everywhere: office buildings, strip malls, village storefronts. Salons with one tiny massage table tout their spa services. There are two types of spas that are most popular and they are day spas and mineral spring spas. So what are they and what can they do for us?
