Make a perfect barbeque every time

Whether its holidays with friends, camping or a birthday party, fun is in complete without a barbecue cookout. Isn't it! There are a lot of different barbeque techniques available. Making perfect barbeque is a art and every one can't do it properly. Today we will try to know some important tips to make perfect barbeque and impress your friends and family. barbeque

Tips to cook barbeque:

  • Choice of food to cook is really important because there's not much flexibility with the heat and it doesn't last forever. Try fish and steaks and other lean cuts of meat. Brinfg flavor into the meats by marinating them.
  • The choice of charcoal is very important. The fast lighting bags you can get (one match is all you need!) are not that great. They light fast and burn out fast and never really settle into a good cooking temperature. Briquettes, for me are best they take some time to reach optimum temperature (at least an hour) but then they stay at a good temperature for a long time.

  • When the coals are hot and you're ready to cook, turn the gas down just to maintain the temperature in the coals and keep them well away from the food.

Food that tastes great in barbeque:

  • Monkfish is one of the few fish that barbeques really well - it is just meaty enough to hold together well.
  • Most vegetables go really well on the barbeque. Try par boiling baby new potatoes then making a bag out of some tin foil add olive oil, seasoning and some fresh rosemary and pop them on the BBQ. Sweet potatoes you can just rinse off and wrapped in foil. Butternut squash you will need to quarter, also zucchini, capsicum, just use your imagination and what you have in your fridge!.

  • Chicken, it's quicker and easier if you take it off the bone. It is important to make it the same thickness all over so it cooks at the same speed throughout. But once you get the hang of it you can cook any part. Crush a clove of garlic and mix with a teaspoon of paprika, a teaspoon of grainy mustard and a teaspoon of honey. Smother this mix over both sides of the chicken and once cook enjoy it!
  • Steak is one of the best cuts of meat to barbeque. It is difficult to go wrong with steak but a common mistake is to turn it too often. Ideally you should only turn the steak once. It tastes great with some ground black pepper. Don't forget to brush it with olive oil to stop it sticking.
  • Pork chop recipe tastes amazing. Mix garlic cloves crushed, with some grated stem ginger, some ground cumin, ground coriander seeds and chili powder with just enough sesame oil and dark soy to make it all sticky and gooey. Then brush this onto the pork chops and put them on the BBQ.

So next weekend plan a party with your friends and cook a yummy barbeque. Your friend will be surprised and you can enjoy the delicious taste together.
