Bottled water or tap water?

There are many diseases which are caused due to impure drinking water. So you need to be very careful while choosing drinking water. There are two modes of drinking water, Bottled water and tap water. The Safe Drinking Water Act of 1974 first gave regulatory oversight to the EPA of public drinking water. And often times when the EPA sets new standards the FDA adopts the same policies

Which is better tap or bottled water?

Since ages it has been believed that bottled water is better than tap water. However whenever research was conducted between different types of water tap water comes out a clear winner. Big companies force us to believe that their bottled water is clear, crisp and the cleanest in the world. However the reality is that they may have taken the water from the same source as your tap, and "purified" it.  So get your tap water tested by a professional or purchase a testing kit and test the water yourself. There are many companies that sell purification systems for your sink to further purify your tap water at a fraction the cost of bottled water and with much less impact on the environment.  Also, remember, our environment is getting filled with plastic bottles to the tune of 1.5 million tons per year, that's about 38 billion plastic water bottles. Even with recycling, there is a tremendous amount of toxic material released into our air. So whenever possible just fill your own bottle up and re-use tehm!
