If you want a glowing skin say good bye to soap. Soaps are in fact extremely dry. They can damage your skin. Soap has lye which is the most harmful ingredient for your skin. So do check the list of ingredients of a soap bar while purchasing. Even the lather forming soap is very dangerous especially for dry skin. Be alert!

    Tips for healthy skin

    • Choose mild cleansers for regular face wash.
    • Don't over do cleansing; this may make your skin drier.
    • Avoid hot water bath. Warm or cool water are ideal.
    • After washing your face with face wash pat dry and apply good moisturizer.

Soaps are essentially made of salts of fatty acids. The most commonly used fats come from animal and vegetable sources and include stearic acid, palmitic, oleic, as well as lauric. These salts and acids might be dangerous for some skin types. Soaps can also combine with the calcium and magnesium found on the surface of the skin to form fatty acid salts which can become irritating.

Thus best way to get a clean and glowing skin is to maintain a balanced diet and use natural face wash.
