How to use Eyelash Curler:

Make sure that your eyelashes are clean of other make-up, because curlers tend to work best on clean eyelashes. Use a makeup remover to remove mascara or eyeliner or any other products used.
Eyelash curlers function better when they are somewhat hot. You can heat them up by gently using a hair dryer. Position the eyelash curler below the blow dryer for approximately 5 seconds under low heat.
After heating, open the eyelash curler and position close to the root of your lashes. Hold the eyelash curler at your eyelashes for ten to thirty seconds. Remember the longer the hold time the more curves you will get.
Clamp and unclamp the eyelash curler as you move up your lashes. Do the same for your other eye. The lower eyelashes can be curled in the same fashion but this up to you.
Never pull or try to slide eyelash curlers up your eyelashes; this could cause you to by chance pull out your eyelashes at the roots. Also, you should never try to use eyelash curlers after you have applied mascara. The mascara will begin to dry and will cause the lashes to stick to the eyelash curlers.

How to make eyelashes longer: Choosing the right kind of mascara can make all the difference in the world. If you want to add body to your mascara, then you can get some sort of simple thickening mascara. But, on the other hand, if you want longer lashes, then try lengthening mascaras. Put on the first coat of mascara, top and bottom. Making sure that your eyelashes are separated and even all across the top.
Use a eyelash separator brush to separate each lash if it becomes clumped.
After your first coat is on complete your other work so that the first coat can dry.
Then apply a second coat, but first use the eyelash curler again. Another 15 to 30 seconds. Be careful when taking off the curler. Do it gently, your lashes will stick a little because of the mascara. Apply your second coat of mascara making sure the eyelashes are separated. This second coat will lengthen and darken your lashes even more.
Using a lash conditioner is also a great way to get longer, beautiful lashes. This is so because, inherently, your eyelashes are made up of hair after all. So, applying some good quality conditioner is sure to make them more beautiful.

Home Remedies for Thick and Strong Eyelashes:

Before going to bed apply a coat of olive oil or castor oil on your eyelashes.
In case you are looking for results in a short span of time then try trimming your eyelashes a bit. It might sound odd but provides fast and effective results.
Before going to bed with the help of eyelash brush or mascara brush apply Vaseline on your eyelashes.
Mix equal quantity of glycerin and castor oil and before going to bed apply this mixture on your eyelashes.
Prepare an eye lotion at home. For this home-made eye lotion you need to prepare a decoction of cornflower and calendula flower. You can use decoction as eye compresses.
