Robin Gibb, one of the last members of the iconic familial pop group the Bee Gees, died Sunday. He was 62.

"The family of Robin Gibb, of the Bee Gees, announce with great sadness that Robin passed away today following his long battle with cancer and intestinal surgery," his rep said in a statement. "The family have asked that their privacy is respected at this very difficult time."

Robin Gibb, along with his brothers Maurice and Barry, defined the disco era. As part of the Bee Gees -- short for the Brothers Gibb -- they created dance floor classics like Stayin Alive, Jive Talkin, and Night Fever that can still get crowds onto a dance floor.

In October 2011, the Songwriting Hall of Famer fell ill with intestinal problems and was taken from his home near Thame, England, to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford for tests and treatment for inflammation of the colon, his rep said.
Gibb left the hospital four days later. In mid-April 2012, he was in a coma, the result of pneumonia, and yet rallied and regained consciousness more than a week later.

Despite their success, the family was not without its share of tragedy. In 1988, the Gibbs' younger brother Andy committed suicide. He was only 30. Today, only Barry is left of the famous singing clan.

Gibb is survived by his second wife, Dwina, and four children, as well as his older brother, fellow Bee Gee Barry Gibb, and his sister Lesley Evans, who lives in Australia.

After Monday night - when coaches Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton let go talented contestants on their teams - the results of America's vote were revealed.

On Team Christina, Chris Mann earned the most votes, leaving Ashley De La Rosa and a tearful Lindsey Pavao to sing for their coach. Ashley performed "Yoü & I," while Lindsey tackled "Please Don't Go."

"I really love these two girls a lot. I really believe in you," Aguilera said before making her difficult decision. "You both are complete superstars." But Aguilera picked Lindsey, sending Ashley packing.

On Team Blake, Jermaine Paul was the lucky one with enough votes to move on in the competition. That left Erin Willet to sing "Proud Mary" and RaeLynn to perform "If I Die Young" in hopes of winning Shelton's favor.

"I love both of you and we have a bond for different reasons," the country super star said. "This is way rougher than I thought it was going to be ... "

As the credits rolled, host Carson Daly practically begged Shelton to make a decision - and he barely did before the end of the hour, saving Erin, sending RaeLynn home in tears.

Next week, Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green's teams face off in what's sure to be another couple of difficult nights for the judges and contestants alike.

Truly, The Voice is all about tough decisions. Keep reading for more updates.

Miley Cyrus may have encouraged her fans on Twitter to try a gluten-free diet, but nutritional experts claim she should not be promoting gluten-free diets because many of her fans may not have been diagnosed with a gluten-related disorder.

On Sunday, the "Can't Be Tamed" singer denied rumors she's battling anorexia and seemed to explain her recent weight loss as a result of a food allergy.

"For everyone calling me anorexic, I have a gluten and lactose allergy," the 19-year-old actress tweeted. A gluten-free diet excludes foods containing gluten, a protein found in wheat. "It's not about weight -- it's about health. Gluten is crap anyway!"

Cyrus then told one fan: "Everyone should try no gluten for a week! The change in your skin, physical and mental health is amazing. You won't go back!"Rachel Begun, a registered dietitian and food industry consultant, told Today's Health that only those who have been diagnosed with a gluten-related disorder should go on a gluten-free diet.

In fact, Begun said "People who go gluten-free may gain weight if they rely mostly on highly-processed gluten free foods, many of which tend to be higher in fat, calories and sugar than their gluten-containing counterparts."Karen Ansel, also a registered dietitian and spokeswoman for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, agreed.

"There's absolutely no evidence that a gluten-free diet promotes weight loss," Ansel explained. "However, there is data that indicates that following a gluten-free diet can result in a diet that's low in key nutrients -- especially iron, zinc and B vitamins such as folate and niacin."

Heidi Klum has made it official and filed for divorce from Seal, after almost seven years of marriage. A petition, which lists irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, was filed Friday afternoon in Los Angeles Superior Court, PEOPLE confirm.

Klum is seeking joint legal custody, but primary physical custody of their four children - Leni, 7½, Henry, 6½, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2 - with visitation rights for Seal.

"While we enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching, we have decided to separate," the couple previously said of their split. "We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart."

They announced their separation nearly three months before. The split played out in headlines as the end of a fairy tale as both Seal and Klum gradually stopped wearing their wedding rings.

Seal was vocal about their split in the weeks following their announcement.

"When you publicize your marriage as much as our marriage was publicized, when you renew your wedding vows, when you do all those things, what you are saying to people is ... you're giving people a picture of an ideal relationship that people aspire to," the British singer explained in February. "When it goes south, you can't all of a sudden take the philosophy of a monk and decide to go for a vow of silence."

Klum said later on: "People don't need to know who did what," she said. "I don't want to talk positively or negatively about the ups and downs that we had."
