It's been nearly a year since they were first publicly linked - but are Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds husband and wife? According to a Tweet by Charleston, S.C., radio station 95.1 FM, the pair, linked since October 2011, got married in town at "the Cotton Docks" at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., just outside of downtown Charleston.

And a source told PEOPLE that the two, whom sources spotted in town having dinner with Bette Midler earlier in the weekend, were in South Carolina to get married.

On Sunday evening, a big event did indeed take place in a white tent at the plantation, and Florence Welch (of Florence and the Machine), a good friend of the Gossip Girl star, performed three songs live at a reception. PEOPLE also confirmed that a cake was being driven down from Virginia for the event.

Lively's mother and sister were also spotted in town.

Reps for the two actors have yet to comment, though they did shoot down rumors earlier in the summer that the two had married.

Lively and Reynolds have been in nesting mode since buying a home in Bedford, N.Y., earlier this year. They have subsequently been seen working out together at a local gym, as well as spending quality time with their families in New York and Vancouver, where Reynolds, PEOPLE's 2010 Sexiest Man Alive, was born.

The two, who costarred together in 2011's Green Lantern, have stayed relatively mum about their relationship, though Lively, 25, did tell Marie Claire this summer, "It's definitely attractive when a man can dress well."

Reynolds, 35, was previously married to Scarlett Johansson. The couple divorced in 2010 after two years of marriage.

This would be the first marriage for Lively, who previously dated her Gossip Girl costar PennBadgley.

"That's the thing I learned early on: No matter how preposterous it is, I don't say a word (about tabloid stories), ever. If you start doing it, you have to do it every time. I let it do its thing and watch it come and go. I'm pretty good at not looking at anything," says Reynolds, who never discussed either his marriage to or divorce from Scarlett Johansson with the media.

"Lately I've been working a lot. I've been in Africa shooting for five months," says Reynolds. "I also think it's important. I don't think you need to be in the spotlight that much. The spotlight can be a very stressful place to be. People can unravel. To vanish, to have everyday regular life experiences -- it informs your work, it informs everything. It allows you to sustain this a lot longer. This world can be very fleeting. And if you're not cultivating other aspects of your personality, you can be screwed very quickly."

"'R.I.P.D.' I'm doing next and then hopefully 'Deadpool,'" Reynolds told MTV News in a recent interview. "It's in development still."

Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds will be seen together for the action comedy Most Wanted, Universal Pictures and Mandeville Films. It seems Sandra is keeping her promise and not going anywhere. Good news for her fans.

"The project is currently in development and she is looking forward to reading the script," says Bullock's rep. The movie centres around a criminal suspect, played by Bullock who is escorted to court by an FBI agent (Reynolds) when they are ambushed on the way and forced to go on the run. Reynolds will be an executive producer and Universal is trying to bring Proposal director Anne Fletcher for the project.
