Fifteen years ago, the youthful star-crossed lovers in 1997's Titanic - played by Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet - helped propel James Cameron's epic blockbuster into box-office history. The film earned $1.8 billion worldwide and scored 11 Oscars. We all remember it.

Now Titanic is sailing back into theaters on April 4, this time in 3D. To mark the re-release, PEOPLE spoke with Winslet and she shared her thoughts.

"My American accent is appalling!" says Winslet. "Here we are 15 years on, and I've learnt so much more, not just about myself but the job that I do and the world of film, and I look at myself in Titanic and I wish I could bring all this knowledge that I now have into that."

In a separate interview with CNN, she furthermore criticized her accent, "It sounds terribly self indulgent but actors do tend to be very self-critical. I have a hard time watching any of my performances, but watching 'Titanic' I was just like 'Oh God, I want to do that again'." To MTV, she added, "[It] could've been much better. My acting could've been a lot better."

"Avatar" has become the highest-grossing movie worldwide at $1.859 billion as reported by yahoo.com.au. avatar

It's even bigger than Titanic, which brought in $1.843 billion and Avatar has done this in a little over six weeks. Take a look at the official website for Avatar to get a feel for how great the movie really is.  I saw it in 3D and l loved it. This movie starring Sigourney Weaver, is set in 2154 and tells the tale of a disabled ex-Marine who infiltrates Pandora, which is inhabited by the Na'vi. He needs to get them to relocate as their homes are on precious material. But all does not go according to plan.
As reported, the film took more than five years to make and was of the most expensive films, with a budget of $300 million. But l guess that all does not matter now, as it's earnings have surpassed that anyway.
