After seemingly endless weeks of grueling rehearsals and memorable performances three couples - Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas; Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd; and William Levy and Cheryl Burke - were left vying for the coveted mirror-ball trophy during two nights of competition.

And the winners are ... Donald and Peta!

"Amazing!" Donald shouted when asked how he felt by host Tom Bergeron, who handed the couple the mirror-ball trophy as confetti fell in the ballroom and his former competitors from throughout the season congratulated them.

Katherine and Mark finished in second place, and William and Cheryl landed in third. "It was an amazing experience," William said. "I'm going to miss all of you."

"Thank you so much Mark," Katherine told her partner. "It's been an absolute dream." "I had a wonderful time working with Katherine," he said. "She's an angel."

For the final performance of the season, Donald and Peta did crowd-pleasing cha cha that earned - you guessed it! - another perfect 30. Len offered the NFL star this compliment: "We've had some great footballers on the show over the years," he said. "My feeling is you're the best we've had."

"Lost" star Matthew Fox was arrested for drunken driving in Bend, Ore., on Friday. He had one passenger with him when he was cited at 3:23 a.m. The actor was arrested early in the morning on suspicion of DUI. Fox, 45, was taken into custody and released later that day.

Driving in Oregon, where he currently lives, the actor was apparently en route to a fast food restaurant at the time of his arrest. He was taken into custody and released later that day.

The Oscar-winning director and writer have spent a lot of time in Hawaii over the years, so he probably doesn't even know that's illegal in Oregon.

This isn't Fox's first run-in with the law. On Aug. 28, 2011, the actor was accused of punching a female bus driver in the chest and pelvic area after he attempted to board the private party bus in Cleveland, Ohio. However, prosecutors ultimately decided not to charge Fox.

A rep for the actor had no comment.

CAMERON Diaz has revealed that the short hair she debuted in January was not only an accident but that the cut led her to "burst into tears."

"There was a little misunderstanding," she explained on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno of her pre-Christmas cut. "I said, ‘Oh I just want a little bit off' ... and it went from here to here," she added, gesturing two very different hair lengths. Once Diaz saw the new do, her reaction wasn't so pleasant. "I just burst into tears and started crying, and I felt so vulnerable," she explained. "For a woman to all of a sudden have no hair, oh my god."

Diaz revealed that the incident happened when she went to a friend's house for a haircut just before the holidays. She says the friend has been cutting her hair for ages. "I felt really bad, she felt really bad, she started crying, I started crying, a couple of other people started crying," Diaz said. But soon the situation smoothed over. "I ended up writing her a few emails after, the next couple days, assuring her I wasn't going to kill her."

As Leno pointed out, it's unique that Diaz gets her haircuts from a friend (in that friend's kitchen, no less) - not at a chic Los Angeles salon. But the actress said she's been getting kitchen haircuts from this friend - and her own mother - for quite some time. She joked, "I'm in her kitchen often with the cape around my neck, going, ‘I hope we're not going to cook after that.'"

Beyonce Knowles has refuted the rumors which suggested that she and Jay-Z had their daughter Blue Ivy with the help of a surrogate mother. "That was crazy. It wasn't hurtful, it was just crazy," the songstress, 30, tells PEOPLE. "[I thought] ‘Where did they come up with this?'"

But perhaps the person most affected by the surrogacy speculation was not the expectant mom herself, but rather her own mother, Tina Knowles.

"I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months," she says. "As a mother it was painful for me to hear the crazy rumors. And I even had people ask me, which was so ridiculous."

Blue Ivy was born in January in New York's Lenox Hill Hospital, where the superstar couple ramped up security and allegedly took over an entire wing of the maternity ward. But months before the baby girl was born, rumor mill ran rampant online that she was being carried by a surrogate mother.

The 16-time Grammy winner was named last week as People's 2012 "World's Most Beautiful Woman." She credited the birth of Blue Ivy with making her feel more beautiful than she ever had before. "I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth," she added.
