We have waited for this and now they have made it official.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are engaged. The ring took a year to design and the diamond was hand-picked by Brad himself.  As mentioned on USA today. "Yes, it's confirmed," Cynthia Pett-Dante, Pitt's manager said. "It is a promise for the future, and their kids are very happy. There's no date set at this time." The couple, with Angelina wearing the ring was seen together on Wednesday night at the LA County Museum.

"Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realized over a yearlong collaboration with Robert. He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so Robert was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suit Angelina's hand," Procop said in a statement.

Robert Procop, is a jeweler in Beverly Hills  who was selected by Brad to help custom design this special ring.

"Brad was always heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution. The side diamonds are specially cut to encircle her finger. Each diamond is of the highest gem quality." What a guy and l would really like to know how much it cost!

The Academy Awards always produces its share of controversy. The biggest topic of conversation has been Angelina Jolie's leg! Actress had a real leg up on the competition Sunday night at the 84th Annual Academy Awards.

Although stars like Meryl Streep and Jean Dujardin walked away with top honors, it was the leg-baring slit in Jolie's black Atelier Versace gown that kept people buzzing on Monday. Before the end of the telecast, there was already a Twitter handle dedicated to that part of the actress, called @AngiesRightLeg.

The feed has 14,100 followers and counting, and the anonymously penned posts include, "Look at meeee!!" and "You have to admit I'm one hell of a leg." Calling Jolie's pose "kind of weird," Debi Mazar Tweeted during the show, "Why did Angelina do that 'leg thing?' [But] if I had legs like that, I might, I guess... :)."

Patricia Heaton even compared Jolie's stance to "Tebowing," Tweeting, "I was wondering why Angelina was standing like that - then the writers copied her."

The actress struck an incredible pose with the help of her black dress' slit both before and during the ceremony, but shortly after her second time, she was mimicked by Descendents winner Jim Rash while he was on stage. As the dean on Community, he's no stranger to flamboyant behavior, but his impulsive maneuver reportedly rubbed many, including Jolie, the wrong way. He defended his actions to US Weekly, calling the pose a "loving tribute". Whether it was or not, it still got a laugh, which may or may not have been at the expense of the actress.

Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton have reunited - in the pages of a book. Jolie, who divorced Thornton in 2003, has written the foreword for her ex-husband's upcoming memoir, The Billy Bob Tapes: A Cave Full of Ghosts.

A description of the book posted on the site says The Billy Bob Tapes will include "colorful tales of his modest (to say the least) Southern upbringing, his bizarre phobias (komodo dragons?), his life, his loves (including his heartbreakingly brief marriage to fellow Oscar winner Angelina Jolie), and, of course, his movie career." The book is set to hit shelves on May 15.

Thornton and Jolie remain friendly, he told reporters at the Berlin Film Festival earlier this year. He also said he was "thrilled" that Jolie decided to direct her first film, The Land of Blood and Honey. "I thought she did an amazing job," he said. "She really dug deep and it meant a lot to her. I'm very, very proud of her."

Ever since her divorce from Thornton in 2003, Jolie has been going strong with fellow A-lister Brad Pitt. The duo are currently proud parents to six children. Meanwhile, Billy Bob is currently attached to make-up crew member Connie Angland. 

The Jolie-Pitts are now settling comfortably into a rented country estate that includes a 16th century mansion.

Set among rolling Ayrshire hills, their latest homestead property is dotted with cows, horses and heather. Pheasants freely roam the 10-acre garden where the children can go trout fishing - something Brad was spotted doing with Maddox, 10, and Pax, 7, Wednesday morning - or frolic among the flowerbeds, as Angelina did with 3-year-old Knox on Thursday.

Should the family - which also includes Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 5, Vivienne, 3 - want to venture off-site for toy shopping or riding at nearby horse stables, they have until Pitt wraps his filming of World War Z in the next few weeks.
