The Secret of the Grain:  The film is about North African immigrants in the south of France and it revolves partially around food. In the rustic port of Sete in southeastern France, 61-year-old Slimane, played by Habib Boufares, has worked in the same shipyard job for over 35 years, when his growing dissatisfaction prompts him to try to open his own restaurant.  The film is directed by Abdellatif Kechiche and major casts are Hafsia Herzi, Hatika Karaoui, Bouraouia Marzouk, Farida Benkhetache. This 2½ hour film, like the couscous at its core, will be an acquired taste. For some, writer-director Abdellatif Kechiche has produced a profoundly moving work about the dignity of the human condition, and the film recently scooped the pool at the French Cesar awards. This movie has hit the theater on Dec 24^th.

Brad Pitt donned his best black-tie Monday night to premiere his highly anticipated movie 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' , besides having his Angelina Jolie, his mom and dad Jane Etta Hillhouse and William Pitt also joined them on the red carpet. About the movie Brad tells ET "... It's a movie in the vain of the classics," Brad says. "And a kind of classic epic, dealing with life and love, and all that fantastic stuff, so yeah that's the idea." "You can feel a film when something's happening off the page," he says. "And yeah certainly felt it on this one. Fincher's done an extraordinary, extraordinary job here. I find it quite special."

Angelina was so excited about the movie, she said about her amazing man: "I'm very, very proud. Mainly, I have seen everyday he went to work just how hard he worked, how hard the director worked, and Cate [Blanchett] - and just how dedicated they were. It's been a big process; it's a very trying film. So, I am just so happy that it came out so beautifully and their work is going to be recognized." When asked Pitt's mother she was so emotional about the movie, she said: "I cried, it's so beautiful. "It's so touching. It's lovely; it's just a wonderful picture." "And that's pretty wrong. From the very beginning, I've made choices in my life that have been very strong. " After her girlhood crush, Katie was in deep love with Tom and got married in Italy in 2006. She got impressed with the down to earth attitude of Tom Cruise.

"When I met Tom I was completely in love and, yes, I admired him growing up - he's Tom Cruise! ... When I met him, he was so warm and I thought, Wow! You can be a superstar and a human being. He made me feel so amazing." When mother of 2-year-old daughter Suri was asked, misses having a more anonymous existence, she says not at all. "My life has expanded. My family and friends are all part of this bigger life." "I'm a mom and an actress with a play to do every night. I can't pay attention to all that noise." Even Tom during a Q&A in the Times Style Magazine, addresses his relationship with Holmes. "I knew I wanted to marry Kate when I met her," he says. "After our very first date, I was sure. Titanic hero Leonardo DiCaprio was seen very close to Kate Bosworth at Bardot in Hollywood on Tuesday night. He got extremely cozy with the 25-year-old actress, who was holding his hand and stroking his leg. "Kate was all over Leo," says an eyewitness. "Her body language suggested that she wanted to be more that just friends and wasn't worried who saw. They spent the entire night together side by side, intimately whispering in each others ears and squeezing each other tight."

Leo was enjoying the evening with lots of friends including Kevin Connelly and Lukas Haas at VIP section. He was also surrounded with lots of pretty women but it was Kate who was snuggling up to Leo. "Leo and Kate acted as if there was no one else in the club," continues the source. "She was making sure his focus was solely on her and the black skintight dress she was wearing certainly helped. Kate the famous actress known for her roles in the films Pearl Harbor shares her exercise schedule that keep her in perfect shape. She said "I'm amazed that people obsess over my body image so much. Why do we encourage this war on women's bodies? It's a horrendous way to live, and I refuse to." Kate is 35 and takes special care of her figure with sensible eating regime and four exercise sessions per week. "I'm entirely normal. I have my good days and my bad days. I am a lot more body confident now I'm in my thirties, and in better shape too. If someone turns up with cupcakes mid-afternoon, I'll have one. And I'd hate to be one of those people who won't allow themselves a slice of birthday cake."

She has maintained her body so well that she looks so very gorgeous even after a having nine years old daughter from her past relation. She is very conscious about her looks and appearance. She told Elle magazine: "I don't like to walk around wearing no make-up, with my hair rolled on top of my head on my days off. I think my husband would be a bit bummed out if I did. CBS American situation comedy "How I Met Your Mother" is famous for celebrities guest-starring. Guess who is the next celebrity? Yes Dancing with the Stars alum Kim Kardashian. Kim is thrilled to be on How I Met Your Mother and told reporters, "I am so thrilled to be guest starring on How I Met Your Mother! I'm such a fan of the show - it's very cool to now be a part of it! I love Heidi and Spencer! I've known them for years, Spencer being close to my brother Brody for so many years!" she adds. "This will only make this episode so much more fun!"

The interesting thing behind the scene was when Kim introduced the cast to her own mother. "Everyone on the set was extremely kind and so fun to work with!" writes the Dancing with the Stars alum on her Web site Friday. "Bob Saget, who is the show's narrator, and cast member Jason Segel were there as well as my own mother, who everyone got to meet. Ha!" Kim is very happy and excited about her entire experience on the show. "I can't wait to see the show," she adds. "I really had a great time and hope this opens up other opportunities for me in the acting world." Hope this helps Kim to get some good acting assignments, well here‘s to hoping anyway!

The "Hills" cast member Lauren Conrad was going to LA to run errands and grab lunch but, on her way home, she was quiet disappointed at JFK airport when her name was called over the intercom to go to the ticket counter and pick up her standby ticket. She was so worried that people would bother her, but alas! nobody even took notice of the reality star. Lauren was worried because she wants keep a bit of privacy, and in a recent interview, she said she's determined to keep her relationship with Kyle Howard under wraps and off of The Hills.

A spy said, "LC pitched a fit, and was almost driven to tears because she thought people would start talking to her and bothering her. But no one even cared." Oh! Lauren drama on the "Hills" is bearable but not a real life drama.

Kate Winslet still feels she can't be the part of glamorous world of Hollywood as she is fat. "I was fat. I didn't know any fat famous actresses," she tells December's Vanity Fair. "I just did not see myself in that world at all, and I'm being very sincere. You know, once a fat kid, always a fat kid."

Kate is the youngest actress to earn five Oscar nominations, but despite her professional successes, Winslet tells the magazine she still can be self-critical. "You always think that you just look a little bit wrong or a little bit different from everyone else," the actress says. "And I still sort of have that. I often look at women who wear great jeans and high heels and nice little T-shirts wandering around the city and I think, 'I should make more of an effort. I should look like that.' "But then I think, 'They can't be happy in those heels,'" she says.

Jessica Simpson and Carrie Underwood are still fighting it seems and the reason is a common issue - "Boyfriends". Dallas Cowboys star Tony Romo is dating Jessica who was ex boyfriend of Carrie Underwood. Tony's ex is striking back by reportedly saying Jess has been looking "fatter" in photos. Jess' replies "I love and appreciate everything the good Lord has given me!" she tells Life & Style about her curves. As for Carrie, 25, never admitted the rivalry publicly. "I think anything that brings more recognition to the country music scene is great," she tells Life & Style about Jessica's new country career. "I'm all for it."

On her recent split with Crawford, Carrie explains: "We didn't have a fight. No one cheated. It plain didn't work." Of Romo she says, "I don't know. The phone will ring and it'll be him, and I'll maybe not answer." Jessica took to the airwaves of a Nashville radio station to deny that her boyfriend is calling his ex. "Tony and I both laughed at that," Jessica said during an interview. "We got a chuckle out of it... I know it's not [true] - I looked at his call log."

A friend of the American Idol winner confirms that Carrie's been sniping at Jessica. "She agrees that Jess is attractive," says the friend, "but says she wouldn't want to be as ‘buxom and top-heavy.'" Was this an appreciation or comment! Aren't they fighting like kids? Grow up girls.
