The 23-year-old Mischa Barton was hospitalized last month. And now the reason has come into picture. A source very close to the star said it was a suicidal action. But why the hell she wants to kill herself. "She tried to kill herself," claims the source close to Barton, who also asserts that Mischa had also been let go-and later rehired-from the soap. She was acting crazy when she went to Cedars Sinai Medical Center. A closed source confirmed that before she entered Cedars in Los Angeles, reportedly involuntarily under a psychiatric hold, for "medical reasons." However, Barton's rep insisted that everything said is false. "Your source is far from knowledgeable, as nothing they've told you is true, inclusive of the suicide attempt."

There is no comment from Barton's rep about the reason of Barton's ailment. Barton's rep added: "The network and studio have been supportive of Mischa's casting and subsequent recovery all along. Thanks for checking, though." The conflict of statements will continue, let's just hope she keeps well.
