Newly divorced Guy Richie and Madonna have decided to celebrate Christmas together at Guy's countryside estate in Ashcombe, England for the happiness of their children. The divorcing couple have temporarily ceased their custody battle for the sake of their kids. However this union must be awkward for both of them. But alas! Anything for kids. They were granted their decree nisi in London last month, have joint custody of their sons. But the pair are still fighting over where their children will live. Madonna, who has quit London and returned to America, wants them to live with her in New York, while Ritchie is keen for his son Rocco to be educated in London.

Madonna, 50, has been touring in South America, will arrive in Britain on December 23 with their son Rocco, eight, adopted son David, three, and her daughter Lourdes and spend several days here. A source close to the pair told The Mail on Sunday: ‘Madonna and Guy want the best for the kids and so she has decided to come over to the UK so they can be with their father.' Ritchie, who is working on his new movie Sherlock Holmes, spends most of the week in his new London home. ‘Guy is happiest with his kids and in the countryside,' a friend said last night. As the kids have gone through tough time this year he wants to treat them to a really special Christmas with stockings of presents and a big tree. That's really nice!

‘He is planning on having a traditional turkey dinner - although all the food will be organic at Madonna's insistence. ‘Madonna doesn't really like Ashcombe but she thinks it's important that they put on a united front for the kids. She will, however, be eating a different meal as she will only eat fish. She will also be working out on Christmas Day. The source added: ‘Guy can't wait, He's so looking forward to having some quality time with his son and he will spoil him rotten. Not with expensive gifts but little treats like letting Rocco watch some TV and eat a few sweets.' Check out the pictures of Guy Richie while leaving his pub in London.
