Jennifer Lopez had new party rules

It's very common in Hollywood's celebrity parties to include the rules like ''No Cell Phone/No Cameras'' which usually aren't observed or enforced when it comes to superstar guests. However there were special rules and instructions for the Jennifer Lopez's 40th birthday arranged by Marc Anthony last weekend in New York. 'It was particularly funny at the [big Saturday night] party at the Edison Ballroom,'' said a spy who was there. ''People like Gayle King, Beyonce, Rihanna or Madonna aren't used to having their cell phones or Blackberrys confiscated at the door. People really looked [ticked] off ... but they got over it pretty quickly.''

You will be surprised to know the reason for the new rule; Anthony and Lopez have sold exclusive rights to the parties to a celebrity magazine. Lopez is always late in all the party was clearly unhappy, complaining about some of her guests arriving quite late for the festivities.
