Miss Universe 2008 puts modeling on hold & had surgery?

Reading through miamiherald.com, l can across an article that said that Miss Universe 2008, is willing to put her modelling career on hold. Just read what she had to say about it....

"Being a model is just great. You show a brand, a beautiful dress," said the 22-year-old Venezuelan. "But being Miss Venezuela and Miss Universe, you have the opportunity to go all over the world and have contact with the people and show yourself, and that's what I really wanted." ?(now l ask her isn't being Miss Universe also modelling? I remember watching Miss Universe and that was all they seem to be doing).

She was also quoted as saying "I had been working as a model since I was 15, traveling in various countries around the world, but I felt I needed more," (now don't we all? Except l guess we are not all as beautiful as her lol)

Since winning, she said, "I still don't have my feet on the ground. It's like I'm floating on emotion." (Man she is one lucky girl, look at all the royalties she will get, plus she will also be the public face of a global campaign against HIV and AIDS.)

Mendoza was also asked how she keeps so slim, to which she answered, l have no dietary secret for keeping a pageant-winning figure because l never have to worry about what l eats. (Now l only have one thing to say to this B-I-T-C-H, why is it that they all say that. Plus to top it off she also she says has ?"an accelerated metabolism, thank God. And thanks to my mother, from whom I inherited it, Just drink a lot of water, go to the gym and eat healthy. That's the best thing." (Now l know l do that but l in now way close look like her or have that figure!)

Lastly, she was asked about plastic surgery, and her answer was ".. that's a personal decision. The problem is when you start to have surgeries to look like someone else," But, when the reported asked if she had gone under the knife she said "Asking me that is like asking a woman her age." (So to me that means YES, or else she would have said directly No. So guess what l feel good now, as l am saying to myself yes, she may be Miss Universe, but she had plastic surgery to get there. At least l am natural, hahaha, that's what l am saying to console myself. Also, is that cellulite l can see on her thigh in that photo below? Or am l just seeing what l want?)
