Brinkleys Divorce starts ugly

Taking the stand in a Long Island, New York courtroom, on July 3, 2008 Christie Brinkley testified about "the day my world was completely shattered" - the day she learned that husband Cook was having an affair with a teenager. Her voice filled with emotion.

Brinkley also testified about Cook's use of Internet porn, saying his habit upset her so much because he appeared intent on personally meeting the women he found online. Cook admitted he had given his mistress, Diana Bianchi, a $300,000 payoff, had extramarital trysts in his office and Brinkley's Hamptons homes, and spent thousands of dollars on online porn.

The public divorce trial between supermodel Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook has only just begun, but already it's getting ugly as Cook's mistress takes center stage. The contentious couples are battling over custody of their children Jack and Sailor, along with the distribution of assets which include several real estate properties and three boats.
