Having a lavish home is everyone's dream but few people have the luck to live in one. But this is not so for Hugh Jackman! He has a 3 story, 11,000 square foot triplex in Manhattan's West Village and guess what? He purchased the home for $21 million back in October.
The house was previously owned by Sun Microsystems co-founder Bill Joy. Complete with a double-height living room, the apartment has a professional kitchen, a master bedroom, exercise, recreation and music rooms, a library and multiple terraces. Clearly unaffected by the world economic crisis, a spokeswoman for the Australia star confirmed he had bought the palatial pad in one of New York's most salubrious buildings, the Meier Towers. The actor plans to move his wife Deborra-Lee Furness and children Oscar and Ava to the Big Apple next year to start work on new Broadway musical A Star Is Born. US gossip sites report the original price tag was a whopping $US40 million and that Jackman was able to talk down the owners. Wow! What a bargain, lol.
Check out the pictures of the house. It's really so very beautiful. And look at the sea view. That's really a mesmerizing beauty. Isn't it? I wish I could have one, but l guess we are all not that lucky.
